Time: Noon - 1:00 p.m.
Presented by HR Green, Inc.'s Dave Zelenok, PE, Local Governmental Services Manager, and Edward Barrett, Director, Broadband Services.
Access to the Internet is an essential service for any community to improve economic development, quality of life, and educational opportunities. Communities will require significant bandwidth to furnish an increasing variety of "smart government" applications, as well as to meet the growing needs of residents and businesses to compete in a global economy. Most communities are increasingly dependent upon private sector providers to deliver this service; yet service improvements, including speed and bandwidth have, in many cases been slow or even non-existent. The webinar will highlight the efforts now underway in 100 Colorado cities and counties to bring high speed, affordable broadband to their communities
