Event Registration - Newly Elected Virtual Workshop

This workshop is available in a hybrid format. You are registering to attend virtually. If you are planning to attend in person. please register for the in-person workshop. You will receive a Zoom link to the virtual training a day before the workshop. 

If you are new to your municipality, register to attend as a non-member. Clerks - if your newly elected officials are not sworn in, you can still register them to attend using the non-member rate. Once sworn in, we will add them to your roster. Please contact Mark Vanderbrook, database specialist, at mvanderbrook@cml.org if you run into any issues registering.
Newly Elected? Now What? Congratulations your new role in your community. CML is here to ensure you're well-prepared for your journey in municipal government as you transition from election candidate to elected official. Join us for dynamic, one-day interactive workshop that provides a comprehensive overview of municipal government, covering ethics, liability, open meetings and your responsibilities. You'll also discover valuable resources and explore your leadership style - learning to leverage it to foster collaboration, build an effective team and resolve conflicts. During the workshop, you'll have the chance to engage with experts, exchange ideas and walk away with practical tools to support your new role.

Cost:$45 for virtual attendance.

CML Muniversity Credits:Six credits will be awarded for this training.

You will receive the Zoom link for the workshop the day before. When in Zoom, please turn on your camera and include your first and last name and municipality.
